Isola has over 120km of superb skiing and is just an hour and a half from Nice airport.

The little known resort of Isola has great skiing for all abilities. It has abundant beginners slopes literally on the doorstep leading on to a mouth-watering array of intermediate and advanced runs. The resort is at 2000 metres and pisted runs reach the height of 2610 metres on the summit of Sistron where it is possible to see the Mediterranean sea on a clear day. Isola has an excellent snow record with village level snow guaranteed all season. Boarding is popular in Isola, there are plenty of ‘board-friendly’ lifts and a dedicated snowboard park. For those wanting some off-piste adventure, there are plenty of opportunities.

There are numerous shops, bars, clubs, restaurants and supermarkets adjacent to the slopes. The purpose built complex allows you to maximize your time on the slopes while plenty of terraced cafes and restaurants allow you to take a break and bask in the Mediterranean sun. For apres ski there are lots of options: sleigh rides, snowmobiling, tobogganing, iceskating and ice driving. There is also an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna etc located in the old village, just twenty minutes drive from resort.
